A good starting point to achieving list building automation is to become an authority within your niche or industry. You can do this by creating your own authority site or blog. This is where you will be able to provide valuable content and useful resources that once seen to be reliable will start to attract targeted traffic.

The internet is full of hyped up rubbish with the sole intent to take your money. You do not want to become one of these sites, so if you are offering valuable information to people that is going to help them then they will be a lot more inclined to visit your site again.

Sharing your value and information across the internet is another great way to build your public profile and grow as an authority. This can be done by writing useful articles and submitting them to leading article directories. Social media is another great way for you to provide value to people and build a good targeted following.

The more you grow as an authority your list building automation will begin to happen and you will soon start to build an email list of targeted leads. It is then important to connect with these people and build a relationship, continuing to follow up with content that is going to be useful to your subscribers.

The best way to attract subscribers is to offer something free on your landing pages. This should be something that will give people a greater insight into your niche so they no exactly what to expect from you. This will assure that you are getting quality leads. By this I mean people who are interested in your niche and are not opting in with the wrong impression. This free offer can be followed up using an auto responder so that they can receive this value immediately and giving you list building automation.

There is a lot of software available for you to achieve this automation and auto responder follow up. I personally would recommend something like Aweber which allows you to build your lists and set up follow up messages on autopilot that will be sent out to your subscribers. These messages/emails will be written by you so you do not lose the personal touch but you will only need to write these once and they will automatically be sent out to new leads. You can then broadcast regularly to your list with information that will be of value and be found useful.

As your list starts to grow and you begin to see some income a great way to achieve complete list building automation is paid advertising. The most common and probably most effective method is PPC (pay per click) such as Google Adwords and Facebook ads where you target specific keywords to attract quality traffic #116;o your landing pages. This may require some testing and tweaking to begin with but once set up properly you will be able to ‘set it and forget it’. These ads will drive targeted traffic #116;o your site or your landing page giving you full list building automation.

Your landing page is where you will make your free offer available and should have clear prominent opt in boxes or sign up forms. Do not be forceful when building a list, remember you want quality leads, people who are actually interested in what you are offering. If your content is of value to them then they will make their own decision.

There is always work to be done at the start of building any list but as your authority grows, so to will you list building automation.
